Provides medical adult day care services for elderly and medically disabled adults including therapeutic activities and programs, hot lunch and snacks, transportation, professional nursing care, and support and respite for caregivers.

American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula (120)  www.redcrossdelmarva.org

Provides disaster relief, community preparedness/education, health and safety training (including 1st Aid/CPR/babysitting) courses for children & adults, as well as services to military families/veterans.

Arc, Northern Chesapeake Region (130)  www.arcncr.org

Provides direct services and advocacy to individuals with disabilities and their families.  Services include supported living, employment, family support services and therapeutic foster care and adoptions.

Cecil County Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis Center (180)

Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Tutoring Program

This program is designed to assist children who reside in the shelter
with educational goals, by providing tutoring services after-school
during the school year.

Cecil County Men's Shelter (190)

Operates Settlement House, a shelter for homeless men, with a day program providing lunch, informal  counseling, information and referral, and computer training.

Provides information on options available to pregnant woman, material assistance and pregnancy testing without charge.

Cecil County Special Olympics (210)

Provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Develops programs that encourage child development and family success.  Focuses on at-risk youth facing out-of-home placement.  Offers after school and mentoring programs.

Christmas in April - Cecil County (230)

A nationwide volunteer based organization that preserves and repairs the homes of low-income, elderly and disabled citizens throughout Cecil County on the last Saturday in April.

Commission on Aging Foundation - Senior Services & Community Transit (240)  www.ccgov.org

Fosters, encourages and develops programs that enhance the well being of the seniors living in Cecil County.  Provides public information concerning issues and services that affect seniors.

Compassionate Friends (250)

A mutual assistance and self-help support group offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents and siblings.

Offers people with disabilities services that make it possible to live, work, learn and participate fully in the community with independence and personal dignity.

Epilepsy Association of the Eastern Shore (270) www.eaes.org/

Provides clinical, financial, residential, recreational, vocational and educational services to persons with epilepsy and their family members through counseling, a self-help group, in-service training to professionals, and community awareness.

Fair Hill Nature Center (280) www.fairhillnature.org/

Provides environmental education programs designed to complement classroom science curriculum, summer day camp, and programs for the public.  Scholarships are available for summer camp.

Family Services Association (290)

Provides confidential and affordable counseling, employee assistance programs (EAP), visitation services for children of divorced or separated parents, housing counseling and programs to help families understand finances and attain assets.

Provides therapeutic riding programs for physically and mentally handicapped children and adults.

Generation Station Youth Center (310)

Provides a safe, supervised and structured environment for youth, including after-school help with homework, summer day camps, community service opportunities, volunteerism, study groups, computer classes, organized recreation and field trips.

Girl Scouts, Chesapeake Bay Council (320) www.cbgsc.org/

Offers programs for girls ages 5 – 17 aimed at solving contemporary problems by emphasizing traditional values.  Girls may participate through troops as individuals and in special summer programs.

Juvenile Auxiliary Volunteer Agency (330)

Supplements the services provided by the Department of Juvenile services to "at-risk" youth sponsoring youth oriented planned events and community activities.

Meals on Wheels - Ray of Hope Mission (340)

Serves meals to shut-ins in the northwestern and Rising Sun area of Cecil County.

Meeting Ground (350)

Meeting Ground is a community which provides emergency and transitional housing, meals, care, and many related services to persons and families experiencing homelessness. Meeting Ground also provides extensive support and means of empowerment to assist a rapid return to independent housing and help prevent future homelessness.

Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation (360) www.nchfoundation.org/

Provides financial assistance to hospice patients who do not otherwise have the ability to pay for their care, scholarships for professionals in hospice-related care, educational seminars and forums for hospice professionals.

Rising Sun Family Care Center (370)

Provides medical adult day care services for elderly and medically disabled adults including therapeutic activities and programs, hot lunch and snacks, transportation, professional nursing care, and support and respite for caregivers.

Salvation Army (380)

Provides shelter, medical supplies and other needs for those experiencing an emergency.  Also participates in Cecil County area Emergency Fuel Fund.

The Susquehanna Workforce Network is a workforce development organization that provides facilities employment and training services to the business community, job seekers, and youth entering the workforce.

Upper Bay Counseling & Support Services (400)  www.upperbay.org

Provides mental health services for adults, children, families, and community groups.  Services include outpatient counseling, day programs, psychiatric rehabilitation, school-based therapy, and residential services.

USO (410)

A Congressionally chartered, non-profit organization dedicated to serving human needs of America’s military personnel and their families.

Offers programs to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities including summer day camp, swimming, youth basketball and football, childcare and pre-school.  Scholarships are available.
