LIVING UNITED

"As a life-long resident of Cecil County and as the superintendent of the Cecil County School System for twelve years, the description I use to explain the uniqueness of living here is that we stick together.  I have never seen the collective efforts that organizations and citizens make to solve local problems evident anywhere else.  It is a characteristic of which we should all be proud.  The United Way Campaign is about working together to solve local problems.  Our efforts to support, donate and volunteer will ultimately describe our character.  The value we place on the quality of life for every citizen in Cecil County will dictate the quality of life we each enjoy.  Thank you for your efforts to ensure that all citizens in Cecil County receive the services needed to be successful and productive in every phase of their lives."

Carl Roberts, Honorary Chair 2010 Campaign
